Check your expectations
Don't expect to know if this person is "the one" after just a few hours with each other. IF you are interested, spend time and build the relationship. Just do not expect to know to much after only one date. Rushing to know that this is "the one" you makes you appear to be desperate. That a turn off.

Be Conservative
If you do drink, do so in moderation. Sex on the first date is the easiest way to kill a relationship. Romance and mystery only build interest.

Be appreciate
Thank your date for the time that you had together. If things do not work out be polite. They may have a friend and if you treat them right, they might just hook you up with someone that is more your type. This will only happen if you do not burn any bridges. Nice guys and gals don't always finish last.
