Recipe Preparation 1. In a 1-qt glass bowl, stir together cocoa and sugar. Gradually whisk in 1/2 cup hot water and corn syrup. Heat in microwave on High 2 to 2 1/2 mins, stirring twice, until sugar is dissolved and mixture is smooth. 2. Stir in vanilla. Let cool. Store, covered, in refrigerator.
