No, this hasn't happened to me because I was upfront with Paul and sent him a recent picture of me anyway. I am always upfront with everyone, in fact I'm too honest about things on some occasions. When we saw each other for the first time I got hugged and kissed, then kissed some more and some more lol. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. Take care.

I've heard instances of both.One girl I know was talkin to her online love (met on the net but went to phone right away) for about 2 months..they totally hit it off and she said they sent each other about 12 photos. They finally met and she said they couldn't keep their hands off each other..and ended up having sex that 1st night lol. Her advice to meeting online people: "don't expect a model".Another girl I know met her guy after about 3 weeks of awesome emails. She was really excited but wasn't attracted to him in person at all..he was the same height and only 10 lbs heavier than her (and she is skinny!). Not sure if they exchanged many photos.

I think it depends on how honest you've been with each other. Me personally? well to be honest I don't really look at my guys photo's cos he's really photogenic and I know the photos aren't the same person I'm gonna be meeting I'm a realist you seeNow I'm the opposite I always look absolutely horrible on photos. lol dunno what he see's in me actually.

I met this woman online and she had sent me one picture of her and it was not one of her best pics. I had sent her a recent pic and she really liked it. I tell tehm upfront about everything. I dont consider myself good looking at all but my personality and good sense of humor had won her over before she got the pic in the first place. Going from teh first pic that she had sent me I wasnt exp[ecting much. I had told her that when we met at teh hotel that I would open the door and kiss her . And she said that if I paused for any reason that she would know that I was disappointed. Well it come the time for us to meet, she knocked on teh hotel room door and I opened the door and I was astonished by he beauty, I just stood there for what seemed to be forever and she started having doubts. But then I pulled her inside and gave her a kiss that she will never forget.I cant honestly see why people do lie on here. Would they lie to this person in person? Every girl hasd different tastes, some like the skinny guys, some like them a lil bigger, some like them short and some like them tall, some like facial hair,hairy chest what have ya. I myself fit in there some where, I am 6'5, 265 lbs brown hair, baby blue eyes, I have a hairy chest but I dont consider myself to be good looking, but I have seen worse. It is all in how you carry yourself. The way I look at it, if a woman wants to judge this book by the cover, thats her loss, she will never know what she is missing.

This hasn't happened to me either... cause I've always been honest online and I'm not the kind of guy that just gets a crush in like a month... It took me a year to fall in love with my now ex, and another 6 months before telling him I loved him... we had exchanged tons of pics, saw him on webcam, he had sent me flowers, pictures in a package with a letter, and I had done the same (not the flowers! LOL!) and we had became each other's best friends during all that time too and had talked about meetings as friends also, so when we declared our love, meeting became even more of something we HAD To do... and we did three months later! the pics I had sent were recent and same were his, and we knew each other's weight and height, so we knew what to expect... and on the first meeting, I did kiss him! couldn't wait more than 5 minutes! heh heh! I think if more people would be totally honnest online (that goes to both men and women) bad experiences would not happen so often...
