Nothing to do but wait. In the stale heat
of the attic, in the rippled
full-length mirror, she posed
in velvet, in chiffon, in
her mother's useless clothes,
waiting for her breasts

Full and round, though you are slender:
Bold your breasts, while you are shy
Since so near your heart they lie.

Behold that circummortal purity;
Between whose glories, there my lips I'll lay,
Ravished in that fair Via Lactea.
